School Profile

Founded in 2006, Coral Junior School began as a small primary school with a curriculum based on the Kenya National Curriculum for (8:4:4) at Gospel at Nairobi Estate at Bamburi Location Kisauni Division in Mombasa County. We started in a small house with three classes (Baby class 1 & 2, KG 1, 2, & 3 and Class 1, 2 & 3. After two years lease was over and we then we moved the school to nearby building behind Nakumat Supper Market which we bought on loan from K-Rep Bank of Mtwapa Branch.

The school was established as a result of persistent desire from Dr. & Mrs. Ezekiel Okemwa to start a school that had a peculiar approach to education and teaching.  The school was to become a role model in the urban community and possibly in the country.  The founders were anxious to build a school that would maintain very high standards in academic and co-curricular activities. They sort to establish the school that will provide high quality education geared towards the holistic development of the child and comfort of the parent. The school is home to approximately 200 pupils.

Today it offers an inspiring and well-rounded education to Pupils from 2 - 12 years. Coral Junior School has evolved considerably over the years and has undertaken an ambitious programme of expansion and development.
